A kefir enema is great if digesting it is congesting you, so do it something like once out of every 3-5 regular flushing enemas.
When you add kefir to your diet, you have to start out with very small amounts, just half a cup, and preferably mixed with pungent spices like cumin or cinamon or nutmeg to aid digestion.
DO NOT use soy, it isn't real kefir. Soy milk is soooo soooo bad, don't even go there. Only small amounts of tofu, tamari and miso are good soy products. You can read more about soy at www.westonaprice.org.
Drink some ginger tea and the congestion should resolve fine. You should always keep ginger tea on hand for when dairy or something else coats your tongue.
It also helps to add kefir to other meals that are very spicy, much the same way the yogurt/cucumber Raita or sour cream are added to dishes to cool them. You can put a dollop of kefir into a bowl of Kichadi or Moroccan Soup or vegetarian black bean chili, for instance.
