If you are having light headed spells, make sure you lay down and rest. Rise slowly to give you blood pressure time to regulate itself. Get yourself a blood pressure cuff and keep a log of your daily pressures. You should be able to find one reasonably priced.
There are many older blood pressure meds that work well that aren't prescribed as much as they should be because the doctors don;t get the kickbacks from the pharmaceuticals like they do when they write scripts for the newer meds. Ask to try something older. Ask for samples to try.
You need to take a good calcium supplement like coral calcium (I get mine on ebay the cheapest) because it has magnesium in it. That helps normalize your pressures.
You also need to avoid processed foods and eat as naturally as possible. Use real celtic
Sea Salt to provide you with minerals that you don't get with regular salt.
If you can afford it, use flax seed oil and olive oils for your food. (Flax is found online the cheapest too. Make sure you just use it on your food, it is not for cooking, and is very yummy mixed with cottage cheese.) Read the links here on good oils and diet at the top of the page. Use olive oil or coconut oil for cooking. Avoid hydroganated fats like crisco like the plague. Learn to read labels.
Start walking. It is the cheapest, easiest exercise you can do.
Drink filtered, pure water. Again, read the links on diet.
Good luck.
