Hey Karen, you're on a very long-term fast. And it sounds like you're doing great! I have never done a fast that long, but to help you sustain your efforts you may want to begin supplementing with some superfood "green mixture," Barely Green or Alfalfa powder to sustain you on your fast. This stuff has enzymes, nutrients, acidopholus, vitamins and often vitamin k, necessary in the lower gut. The lemonade and grade B/C maple syrup is only to supply you with necessary nutrients for the short term. Natural vitamins like Wheat Germ oil for E, Cod Liver for A and D, preferably Norweigen (take the capsules!) would be great with the green superfood and you would still maintain the integrity of your diet. These products are not solids. The Psyllium your taking should give you the full sensation while extracating mucous, plague, gunk and parasites. While the greenfood and vitamins will keep you from depleting yourself of vital nutrient sources. The headaches your experiencing and sick feeling may be die-off of toxic bacteria and/or parasites. Or they may also go away with added supplementaion. For me this fast is long and in unchartered. Be safe. territory. Good Luck, Chuck

I have gone on fasts, off and on now for about 3 years now. I am curious about the lemonade fast though. I hope that you are not having Sugar in that. Sugar shuts down our immune system, and defeats the whole purpose of this healing fast. I highly recomend having fresh vegetable juices as part of your fast, not only will this nurish your body, and give you more energy, but this is what I have found to help with weight loss more efficiantly. The sick to stomach sounds normal to me. You are definately getting rid of toxins. However, it is not recomended to do much activity during a fast. If you have alot of healing to do, dont burden your body with looking for more energy to exercise. It takes a lot of sugars for fuel to feed our muscles and brains, and when doing a fast, you are sparing your body of the burden of digestion, so it can focus on healing. So for your own well being take it easy, walking everyday is sufficient.
I also have suffered from fibromyalgia, and I have found GREAT relief by taking 17 fruits and veggies in capsule form. When fasting i just empty the capsule into the juice. I have now been on the product for about 3 months, and im telling you the truth, I was desperate and was miserable, and like I said I have done fasting, and still love it, but I had more results in 2 days than I did fasting for a month. The Sugar and salt is removed, and the fiber is added back in, so since I was border line diabetic, I know that having the sugar removed was a great help. I have also gone from a size 16/18- 13/14, and this was amazing for me, because I have an underactive thyroid. The results of this simple product, I feel has given me my life back. My pain decreases every day, and I feel like every day Im closer to being free of fibromyalgia. If you want more information, I would gladly tell you more about it.

Forty-seven days... are you kidding!

I am new to the cleansing programs, but I do know your body needs protein to rebuild muscles and organs (heart, liver, etc.) or they cannot be sustained. This length cleanse sounds a lot more like an eating disorder than a cleanse.
