i am no expert. still reading his stuff myself. you don't have a book yet? i think some books/websites/people glamorize things to make it attractive. i am sure that some people were regular people in their past lives. i am not sure if cayce is classified as psychic or not. he was a prophet, but only while he slept. maybe there is no diference. still, you should read a few books and see if they have better information before you judge. i hadn't heard of his hospital but I will look that up now. you know, he had so many readings, that people had to pick and choose when they made it into a book. its probably incomplete. i do think castor oil packs are great.

I can assure you that I have reproductions of all his manuscripts (a commission fromm his estate) and this is not the case. Perhaps new writers who are discussing his work tendd to focus on the things you describe out of interest.

He had many clients with fairly bland past lives. Something that can easily be seen when you look through his documentation and not secondary interpretations.

What are your sources?

The whole thing is filtered thru his own beliefs so if he was brought up as a Buddhist he would have used Buddha. To get the gold you've gotta clean away the dirt.
