The stones you passed came from your liver and were probably the newer stones.

Don't quit flushing!! You will be healthier for having done so!

I can't say for sure that what I've passed are stones or where they came from. What I can say is that before my first flush, I was in pain for hours at a time, several times a week. Now, after five flushes, I very very rarely have an attack. When I do, it is minor and lasts only an hour or less. I have more flushes ahead, but I completely avoided the gb surgery that my doctor said I would need!!! So- even if I didn't pass stones (I believe I did) I still did something very good for myself!!!

Hi! I'm not at my regular computer right now, so I'm missing my bookmarks. If you click on either this forum or the last archived liver forum, on 'recommended messages' you'll see a post from.... Prani? (oooh can't quite remember her name) It's something like that. You can read her post that tells of how she had an ultrasound of her gb before and after liver flushes...the doctor confirmed that she had only ONE stone left! (you'll have to read it to get the details...)

So, yes, it appears stones DO move out of your gallbladder. People have cancelled surgery!
