Hi everybody!
Day 2 has gone very well. I woke up at my normal time feeling rested, and no sign of the headaches that plagued me last night. A very small movement this morning, definately not ropes - must have been the last of my "last supper" from Friday night.
Had my P&B shake first thing, then some peppermint tea, then started my lemonade at about 8:45. I've been having the lemonade about 2 hours apart, and that seems to be working about right for me. Also, thanks to the post by Denise with the great info on salt intake, I've been tasting a wet-fingertip's-worth of
Sea Salt between lemonades. I am not doing the salt water flush, so that should be helpful.
Keith, I'm happy to report I made it to the 21 reps of the 5 Tibetans and felt really good doing it. I really believe that is a terrific foundational practice to get anyone both stronger and more flexible. I hope you continue your progress, as well!
I have felt a little hungry today - an empty stomach feeling. No significant cravings, though, and again sat through lunch with my husband and son, drinking only lemon water while they ate their cheeseburgers and fries. Actually the hardest time was when they ate healthy stuff around me - a peach/banana smoothie for breakfast (that's what I usually have every day - yum, and typing this is making my stomach growl) and this afternoon they made apple pear kiwi honeydew juice. That was harder to resist. But not torture, anyway.
No real signs of emerging toxins yet, other than a real tired spell this afternoon - I did doze for about 1/2 hour, which is not at all normal for me.
Reading over this, it seems pretty boring! Famous last words, probably. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Have a great night, all!
