DOW Chemical has been lobbying the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to allow it to spray a new fluoride-based pesticide (sulfuryl fluoride) on hundreds of foods prepared in the US.

If DOW gets its way, sulfuryl fluoride will become a major new source of fluoride, making it even more difficult for consumers to avoid fluoride in their daily lives.

What's worse, the levels of fluoride allowed to be sprayed on food will be shockingly high: 70 ppm for processed foods, 130 ppm for wheat products, and 900 ppm for dried eggs!

A little note, to warn you all of pushy dental workers. I recently had someone tell me they told the dentist not to put the fluoride treatment on their childs teeth during a cleaning. The dentist face became red, and replied with," thats the main reason your child is here to make sure fluoride is put on! " ( I thought it was to check for cavities? ) Well they said the water is already full of fluoride, the dentist replied angrily "Everyones water is fluoradated!" The parent just gave up and said they didnt believe in fluoride. And the dentist retreated but not without stocking the child with flouridated toothpaste with winnie the pooh, and other tasty flavors. And these small toothpaste packets DO NOT have a poison control warning like ALL the other toothpastes, the child is MORE likely to swallow the blue, walt Disney and superhero toothpaste that tastes nice than the harsh adult mint flavored tubes!!!!!!!!!!!
