Grog, at least we are talking about it in the correct place now. ;-)

Grog, I would say exactly the same thing to you! I like the current placement because:
1. Its with the Health Forums where it belongs - the purpose of this forum is very much to complement and be an adjunct to the other Health Forums . I should know because I asked for this forum to be set up!
2. In the default view - which is the view I use and I suspect the majority of curezoners, only hot Support Forums show up. The political forums (aka "debate") don't show up on this list. Therefore any forum in this folder will not be seen/used by the majority of curezoners. If this is not true please show me how. We seem to be at logger-heads on this issue.
3. Although it may not be "support" in the emotional sense, it is meant to be a supportive and not confrontational forum. It is not debate for debates sake, or for point-scoring, but a genuine search for the truth to help our healing efforts.
4. You have totally ignored my arguments about the "debate" folder not actually being a debate folder, but rather being a folder for off-topic, political-type discussions. All of these are rather low-volume forums which I suspect is related to the fact that they don't show up in the main view. (see point 2).
5. The word "debate" is arbitrary - again I know because I asked for this forum to be set up, and I didn't explicitly say it should contain the word debate in the title. Conversely I didn't explicitly say it shouldn't. It could easily be removed, or replaced with the word "discussion". In which case how is this forum any different from the "Supplements Forum - Discussion", or the many other forums which don't have discussion in the title, but are basically discussion forums.

Why does the Scientific & Facts forum have to be debate? It the postings are facts, there should be no debate right?

Why not rename it: "Scientific Facts"


Just a thought, I was excited to see the idea made into a forum, but dissapointed to see the circus it has become. Personally I'm interested in finding out facts and posting facts to back up all our 'theories'. After all there are a lot of very good studies that have been done, and should be posted, because you'll likely not see them unless you go digging deep. Good true information is hard to find.
