fasting makes you fat because...??? OK it will lower your metabolism, for a while, but no one's planning on binge eating on unhealthy calorific food afterwards for any length of time are they. Fasting one day a week can be a way of life, giving your digestive system a break and having nutricious juices will be a health choice. No one's advocating annorexia or obsession just being health conscious and orientated. You can consume juice in addition to food which is also a good health kick. Why should fasting lead to diabetes??? Only if blood Sugar
is propelled out of orbit, there's no need for this either. At 20 I would encourage you to eat to live, stay away from junk, no need to be totally raw at all but you can munch loads of salads. organic's a good route whenever possible but it's expensive I wish i could afford to be totally organic. How much weight do you need/want to lose??? I began fasting in March for short time periods, have lost ptetty much what i wanted give or take a coupla pounds
and have not put it back on despite eating normally since, inbetween sporadic fasts which Ive wanted to do as ive felt like a clean out, this is where the lifestyle part comes in. As for putting it all back on, well i may have to always watch my weight, its in the genes and is an issue for all the women in my family, but i can control my weight by fasting, my sister swears by food combining, so we all find our own way through the matrix. I guess let's see where i am in a year, 6 months ago i was 154 pounds
