You have a very wise attitude! I realize the reason I fail is that I set lofty goals like 60 days, which I'm unable to complete. Yet I've tried the one-day-at-a-time approach and that doesn't work either since I need a goal to feel useful. So the 7-day thing works for me :)
You are so inspiring because you've had such successful weight loss! Congratulations....you must be so proud. I'm sure those last few stubborn
pounds will come off with the willpower you have. Just give it time.
Since you've been there and done that, what's been your experience with stretch marks and loose skin? I keep hearing bad stories of skin going bad on diets like these.
Anyway, about myself:
Honestly I'm a lot like you. Starting weight is 170 lbs (though I'm only 5'2"!). Don't have a goal weight, I'll stay on the plan until I feel I'm the 'right' size. Don't really have a deadline either, but looking to accomplish this by December end. I've promised myself dance lessons in Jan. if I meet that goal!
The biggest problem I seem to be having is yours......my school is getting in the way and I keep odd hours. A typical day goes like this: Plan to wake at 7:00 to go for a walk, but sleep in till noon since I slept at four the previous night. Don't eat anything till 8:00pm, but gorge after than since I'm burned out from the day. Can't sleep till very late since I had a late dinner and tons of schoolwork.
Thank god I don't have a job!
I had started martial arts last month, but dropped out from last week since my schedule was crazy (plus I was embarassed about 'flopping' around with my flab, and I couldn't even run laps for warmup!) I WILL rejoin once I get in shape.
As for exercise, I plan to do pilates, walking, and some rebounding. Pilates is awesome, I just love it!
Anyway, see you around tomorrow. I'll definitely be posting as well, though I'm considering a blog to keep all the posts organized.
Here's to our new beautiful selves!
