Liver flush and 40 day MC Fast

I have been on the Master-Cleanse fast for 40 days and this morning I went through my eleimination process from Dr. Hulda's liver cleanse program I did last night and Holy Guacamole Batman!!! I was amazed at the amount of stuff that
has accumulated in my liver and gallbladder. Unbelieveable!!!
If I had done the flush while eating regular I mighta thought that it coulda been some of the food I was eating but since I have not touched solid food in 40
days the stuff is downright scary!!. All these little yellow,green and black things.YIKES!!!
I had looked at pictures of stuff/stones people had passed and I thought, well these must be really sick folks with bad livers/gallbladders etc. Boy was I wrong!! During a recent stay in the hospital for kidney stones I had very weird atypical reactions to the stones with uncontroled vomiting and dry heaves. I couldn't even hold down water so they checked me out pretty thouroughly including my liver and gallbladder and it all checked out perfectly healthy after ultra sounds and X-rays. HA!! That is outside of the BB sized stones I was trying to pass. Wish I had investigated natural healing methods sooner.............
So now I'm gonna keep doing the Liver Flushes till I don't pass any more "stuff". I'm gonna do another Liver Flush in 2 weeks and see what comes out then and if I'm still passing
stuff I'm gonna keep repeating the flushes every 2 weeks.
I say it's weird and freaky but it's really a blessing/ relief to have done some research and be doing the Colon Cleanse Master-Cleanse fast and Dr. Hulda's Liver Flush and perhaps dodging some future bullet. I tell ya after my experience I couldn't recomend this liver/gallbladder flush and Master-Cleanse fast enough.
Besides losing some weight, getting more energy, my skin
getting clearer and just about getting rid of the dark circles under my eyes. I have also gotten rid of a chronic pain on my right shoulder and wrist. Now after flushing all this crap out of my gallbadder and liver I'm really looking forward to a healthier lifestyle.

Ya know I kept reading all these folk complaining about the taste of the salty water on the MC fast, the cayenne peppper and the Epsom Salts and the olive oil having this horrendous taste etc etc. Now after having gone through it all and having dreaded every mix all I could think was. "What a bunch of whiners".....;+D
I dreaded every one of the mixes and when it came down to it, it was no big deal at all. So the water was a little salty, big f@#$%& deal....I mixed the Epsom Salts with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice like recomended and no sweat at all. The olive oil and the grapefruit juice. Not anywhere near as bad as the "horrendous" descriptions I have read on this site. It was just "slightly" funky but very tolerable.
I know, I know everybody is different yada yada.....but other than having some extreme "physical" reactions, all you "whiners" please, please keep it to yourselves. You're discouraging a lot of people who would be doing a world of good for their health including yourselves.

So if any of you folks are at all discouraged by the descriptions of horrible tasting stuff please don't pay any attention. It simply is not that bad and the results are nothing short of amazing.

Your name fits you!! You made my day with your post. What an uplifting story! I am trying to psyche myself up and get ready for the MC. You have pushed me forward! But, I have a couple of questions. During your 40 day cleanse, how did you handle situations when you were "expected" to eat---I have a husband who likes for me to eat with him.
Also, how did you handle your cravings?

My first recomendation is not to think of it as "psyching yourself out" and puting a negative spin on the situation. I would encourage you to see this as wonderfull new destination you're "going to" rather than "running from".
One of my realizations is that the fast is not just the physical feeling of well being but it is also an inner journey of awakening and getting control of your life. You really can not think of these "expectations" or anything else for that matter that deviaties from "your" journey and that is not to say that you should not acknowledge your significant others "expectations". Having read this far I'm sure you realize that there are ways to joyfully explain your doings/wishes to others in a positive light. Don't explain too much though or you will sound "preachy". Keep it short, simple and smile. It might surprise you how simple this really is and how understanding others will be.
The only "real" cravings will only last 3 or 4 days after that you're home free. You will get what I call "false cravings" which are really your desires for the sensual pleasure of eating. One simple way to deal with this is to just drink more lemonade or just plain water.
If the inner journey thing appeals to you at all then when you catch yourself having these cravings just shut down your internal dialog and self observe. If your internal dialog is still running you're not doing it right. This is a great opportunity for awakening/self awareness. It's no accident that most if not all religions and spiritual practices advocate some sort of fasting.

I'm glad my words have inspired you and now I hope you keep inspiring yourself so you can further benefit from knowing that "you" are taking control of your life now.
I started my return to solid food today. I'm following the prescribed come back and have been drinking OJ today with the addition of 2 oz of wheatgrass juice in the morning and 2 more oz in the afternoon. I just came back from grocery shopping and bought a bunch of organic produce. I have a Champion juicer and a wheatgrass juicer and will also do veggie and wheatgrass juice on a daily basis along with the solid food.
I kinda started the Master-Cleanse fast with 2 weeks as my goal and when I reached that I was feeling so good that I just thought well I'm going in Luke.....;+D and kept going without a very specific goal and just trusting my intuition.
I kinda thought I'd go for 60 days but for around the last seven days or so I started to feel that the fast was just becoming a routine and that I had reached a plateau where I wasn't losing any more weight and my tongue was a nice clean pink so I decided to do the Dr' Hulda's liver flush
and see how I felt. Well I feel great and I've been going around all day like a whirlwind Yehaw!! Really cool clarity of thought. I'll keep doing the Liver Flush till I stop passing stuff.
I think it's cool to set a goal but I think it's more important to self observe as I described earlier in my post to Belle and just trust your intuition.
Several weeks ago I started to do a 5 mile bike ride in the afternoons. I started out easy and taking around 40 minutes to do the 5 miles. Everyday I pushed a little harder till I was doing the 5 miles in 20 minutes so then I added an extra mile. I took a break the last couple of days because of the Liver Flush but I'm sure today I'll do 7 miles!!
I'm real excited about rebuilding now and started to check out some gyms near by so I can get a more complete work out. I'm also considering just getting some weights and a bench and just working out at home.
I'm a whitewater canoeist and I'm really looking forward to tackling some of the tougher rivers and rapids. I have gone canoeing twice during my fast and it's been extra neato cool. The old cliche of "going with the flow" really took some personal meaning now.............;+D
How are feeling on your 7th day I know that there were already some noticeable changes in my skin and my shoulder pain had all but dissapeared after the first 10 days or so.

This is a reply to # 77,363Hi, Can someone please email me and tell me how to go about starting a mc fast. What exactly is Master-Cleanse fast. What do you use to make it work. Is just drinking water help or do I need other things. Does it just flush out your liver or entire body as well.

Wow-- thanks for your great posts. Like the others here, I find it so insipiring and comforting to read about successes like yours. I can't wait to feel that good!! You really hit the nail on the head when you described "false cravings"...I've found that I still like to be around food. Everyday I've had my boyfriend over for dinner just so I could help prepare the food and then watch him eat. I think I am freaking him out. ;-)
I am now on Day 6 of my first MC, and I would like to do 18-20 days. (Unfortunately I cannot do more because of travel obligations). Was this your first MC, or have you done it before?
After reading through posts on the combination between Master-Cleanse and liver flushes, I now am excited to do a flush at the end of the MC. I was wondering though...aren't you supposed to eat the morning the flush routine starts? Or do you just have a few lemonades?

This is a reply to # 77,420I haven't done this cleanse, but, I don't think you're SUPPOSED to eat the morning of the clenase, rather since most of us do eat, its saying go ahead and eat.. just lightly.. thats what I THINK... and since people have fasted and done the liver clenase with success, I guess it seems ok to not eat... which is what makes me think its not a supposed to thing, but rather for most of the eaters.. its just a "lighter" than usual thing... If that makes any sense...

This is a reply to # 77,359I have a few questions for Pepe, but first let me tell you why I am asking. I lost 12.5lbs in 8 days and had to come off the fast. I was not over weight prior to going on the fast. I simply was losing to much weight and muscle to maintain my activities and frankly health. I drank 5 quarts of the lemonade a day, everyday without fail.
My questions are how much weight did you lose and did you need to lose weight (forgive me for such a rude question)? I am simply in amazement that anyone can go for that length unless they needed to lose a lot of weight prior to going on the fast. It would have not been healthy for me to lose much more weight in my opinion and I drank a lot of the lemonade as well as a lot of water each day. My last question is did you lose physical strength?
I do want to appologize for the frankness of my questions. I have no other way to quantify my experience except to compare it to and learn from others. This fast was so different than anything I have done in my life and someone like yourself has much valuable experience to share with the rest of us.....if you can tolerate the nosey questions! ;-)
