I can help on the yeast problem. But I have been doing Atkins Diet for years. I finally zeroed in on a happy medium as far as diet is concerned.
No Dairy, No Cow, No Pork
I eat fresh caught shrimp and fish and I cook it many different ways. Chicken and Turkey a couple of times a month.
Always salad, sometimes for breakfast.
Then I have a small amount of carbs per day usually under 45 carbs. Some white rice, Oatmeal with fruit, an apple, cherries, Southern peaches, watermelon...I missed fruit and added it in moderation.
There is no snacks like chips, cookies, junk food at all at home. No achohol, or store bought juice.
If I want juice, I'll make it. Herb teas yes.
When I added the few carbs, my body wanted to gain weight. But then my metabolism adjusted and I haven't gained weight. I'm exercising to lose the rest. My goal is to lose 3/4 pound per month. If I lose more, lucky me.
Making the small adjustment in diet made my life more enjoyable. Luckily, I moved to an area where fishing is convient.
I don't like meat either. I ate to much steak as a little girl. Now it unappealing for me too.
Maybe just adding a few pieces of fruit will perk you up. And a little exercise will burn the carbs.
