It contains the good kind of bacteria that is required for proper digestion. I am confused about dairy products too. We are told to avoid them, but that we need the live bacteria cultures in yogurt and kefir. Frankly, I think milk is good for me because I need calcium and that is the cheapest and most normal way to get it. I like to avoid taking pills whenever possible. I probably wouldn't drink it if I had trouble digesting it, but I don't. Someone told me that my germanic dna makes it ok for me to drink milk. I buy the low fat kind. I have gone off dairy for long periods of time and can't tell that it helps me at all, I just get leg cramps and have to supplement with calcium. Some people get bad gas from dairy. If that were the case with me, I probably wouldn't drink it. But I would wonder if there was some kind of parasitical entity in my intestines that reacted to it, because I use to get really bad gas from broccoli and beams. The texture of broccoli was repulsive to me. After I cleansed my liver and took anti-parasitical herbs, I could eat beans and broccoli without getting gas, and I actually like broccoli now. I read somewhere that broccoli is anti-parasitical. I also read that parasites
can control the host behavior ( parasite
Rex, by Carl Zimmer). Bottom line is how do you listen to your body and do what is best for it, if the parasites
are causing you to crave what they need to survive and thrive? Here is how I do it. Die off causes you to feel bad for a little while and then you feel better than you felt before. If you have a craving and give into it, you feel momentarily elated, but then you feel sick and bloated for a few days and chronic sickness lingers.
