I'm on day 2 of my 4th MC. I have found in the past that around day 12-14 I lose interest in drinking anything at all. I start not drinking even the minimum lemonade and not enough water. I'm guessing this is when my metabolism has finally plummetted. I've stopped at the 14 day mark the last 2 times.
But I really want to go longer than 14 days. Because it's a challenge, I like how I feel when I fast, and I'd like to lose more wieght. So, this time I plan on walking during my freed up lunch hour. I think this will help me lose wieght and keep my metabolism in better shape. That's my plan anyway.
I've read that if you're over 35 it is far less likely you'll get a rope-like piece of mucoid plaque out - instead it breaks down before coming out. In my experience, and I am over 35, nothing ropey has ever come out. It was pretty anticlimatic the first Master-Cleanse
but the effects of the Master-Cleanse
were so positive I got over it. I also read on this forum about someone who had done many MCs and didn't have anything ropey come out until late in a 40 dayer. I think the experience is a little different for everyone.
good luck, Katz
