IMHO, it is counter-productive to focus on
the weightloss associated with Master Cleansing.
The real benefit comes with being cleaned out
and experiencing improved digestion and elimination.
Combined with better food choices and exercise,
you have much potential for significant changes
in health and lifestyle....
I do not skimp on the maple syrup myself so as
not to make my body adapt a conservation program
and screw around with my metabolism. There are
only so many calories available and my body needs
them to do the work of cleansing. The minimum is
6 10 ounce glasses...the upper range is 12. If
you are hungrier...you have the option of drinking
more. I usually get in a minimum of 8. I have never
not been *hungry* to drink a lemonade even though
I have sometimes gotten tired of lemonade and so
I will drink some water but each day, I make up my
batch for the day, and by evening I know how much
I have to drink up, water and lemonade since I
set out my daily dose of each for the day...
Body brushing is very effective in toning the skin.
Here is an ebook on body-brushing. I love Tampico
body brushes since they are made of cactus bristol
and are stiff and make my skin feel wonderful.
Doing the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush)
and the lax tea are optional but OPTIMAL in the
detoxing process. The Master Cleanser
is a powerful detoxer so
most find it necessary and productive to do the internal
cleansing daily. You can do colonics
but they are not generally
necessary. If you feel you have a blockage it might be but if
you are already a faster, this is probably not an issue for
You can feel pretty funky on The Master Cleanse
at its worse.
It can mimic the flu or worse...but keeping the lemonades flowing
and keeping well hydrated with water is the key. The cayenne
in the drink is the powerhouse of healing and so if one is not
already in a weakened condition and has the will, the Master
Cleanse is a good choice.
Most of all, I can recommend, *reading the book* and also the
info above under the FAQs and recommended posts...they are found
at the top of the Master-Cleanse
Exercise is fine within certain limits. You are only taking in
so many calories so yoga, walking, nothing stressful is better
for you during the Master-Cleanse
than intensive workouts.
