I called to make an appointment to get my IUD removed today. Well about 6 months or so ago I had to have laproscopic surgery b/c I was having really excrutiating pain in my lower left side (almost like it was in my overies) well they did not find anything- I paid my deductible. For some reason they mailed it back- now I owe the OB/GYN office $400 ! They said unless I pay the balance then they will not see me! Great- so now what?... Someone said that I could go to the health department and have it done but is that safe- I mean they are not my Dr's will they know what is best? I'm so upset and confused-
