Eating more magnesium-rich foods, like green leafy vegetables and nuts, may reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes, suggests a meta-analysis of observational studies.
The analysis of prospective cohort studies, by researchers at Stockholm's Karolinska Institutet, reports that for every 100 milligram increase in magnesium intake, the risk of developing type-2 diabetes decreased by 15 per cent.........
Magnesium is one of my favorite minerals and, I feel, one of the very top most important minerals for good health, especially good heart health and calcium intake.
It is reported that 90% or us are deficient in magnesium, including those who supplement (mostly incorrectly).
What are the symptoms of a magnesium deficiency? Millions suffer daily from:
Insomnia
Sleep-disorders
Fatigue
Body-tension
Headaches
Heart-disorders
Low energy
High Blood Pressure
PMS
Muscle tension
Backaches
Constipation
Kidney stones
Osteoporosis
Accelerated aging
Depression
Irregular-heartbeat
Anxiety
Muscle cramps
Spasms
Irritability
and the list goes on....

Thanks DQ.
Got to hand it to you DQ, but you really know your stuff.
Of all the posts within Curezone yours are the most reliable, informative, ground-breaking and health-educating.
I always go for your post first for those reasons.
Don't disappoint me.....keep it coming.
I do have a ton of health info - I am a natural health info packrat, always collecting new info to perhaps use someday in one of my books, articles or posts, but . . . . .
the way I get a lot of that info, is to see a good post like one of yours, check my files and also do a Google to see what more I can find, and then add all of what I find new to the archives.
And I find that no one knows more than Mr. Google!
Except maybe those beings of light - (although they seem a bit deficient in knowledge about dieting . . . )
