swordfast
Whatever you do, make sure you dont eat back to your normal way for a week
Here is what I am going to do:
Drink strained fruit and vegetable juices. preferably organic. do that for your first couple of days. even water down your very first drink or two. then start introducing soft stuff. like in day 3 drink apple juice (not strained) like the one from Eden (excellent product). then you can eat soft fruits like
Watermelon or tomato. do this for a couple of more days
on day 5 maybe, eat a fifth of any one thing you would normally eat (but still close to natural) like bread, but in much samaller quantities. and continue eating soft stuff.
ramp up day 6 and 7. just listen to your body though. these "days" are just guesses for you. You would have to guage when yourself when you think you are ready to ramp up.
In general, I would avoid noisy food (i.e. food with lots of ingredients) to help ease digestion. I would definitely avoid oil and greasy food for a full week at least.
WARNING: If you eat your more than your normal habit, because you are rewarding yourself for completing the fast, YOU WILL GAIN MORE THAN YOU HAVE LOST.
For me, I strongly believe that the true journey starts after the fast. I view the fast as a jumpstart to the journey. The idea is to live healthy, not eat-whatever-infront-of-you and then do a fast once in while to make up for it. I dont think that is healthy
