Hey thanks Paulette! Good to see you too (always on the Cleansing Trail)!

Heavy Sigh! This is day 5 for me. I was highly inspired by several things I've read about water fasting, and I have surely come far enough along the Trail to be interested in a Deeper Cleanse... so I am giving it a try to see how it fits in my program.

Unfortunately I am finding the lack of energy a real drag! This morning I barely had the energy to get up and do what needed did (I dragged myself), and actually went back to bed and slept a couple more hours! I feel semi-rotten and my friends tell me I look awful...

I have done major fasting on both the Master-Cleanse and fresh juices, looked and felt great every fasting day (barring major crises) and attained amazing results. Why water? Is this worth it?

I understand this is possibly a phase which may pass, but I am reading posts from people working stressful jobs and dragging themselves through the process -- boy, if I was stressed this would NOT work! I would be chugging that juice, filled with bionic energy and looking wonderful!

I plan to stick it out through tomorrow, at least, before returning to juices, to give it a fair trial. If anyone has any words of advice, adelante! Or... I may just be a Water Weenie!!

That said, fasting, albeit on juices, has definitely been a major element in restoring my radiant good health, and I am in it for life. I think I may be happiest incorporating a day or two of water within my juice fasts.

The best thing about Water Fasting thus far for me has been this very upbeat and supportive forum.
