Hi Guys!
I started a Water Fast today to try and get my health back on track. I suffer from systemic candida and and i need to blast this sucker out. I know it can be tricky to rid yourself of yeast but i believe that i can do this. I have decided to fast for as long as i can manage before taking anti fungal supplements so if anyone out there decides they would like to join me then please do. I would love the support and we can do this together

MoreThis is a reply to # 963,416I have already started my long term fast Milly but would be happy to be your support. This is my ninth day and all is going well so far. I'm sure your yeast infection will clear up on the fast, the body acts quickly on what needs doing right away. I was starting to get a new bout of ringworm rash which I suffered from chronically a few years ago, but after the first day or two of fasting it was nowhere to be seen. Small potatoes compared to candida maybe but I have seen candida cleared up just by good diet so a fast should be great for it. :)

I also have to congratulate you on nine whole days on your fast,You are amazing!!!!!
I just need to stay focused and strong for the next day or so until my carb cravings settle down some. My carb addiction is always the reason i break my fasts but not this time because i'm gonna die trying. I really need to make this one count,i just dont want to be a victim of this condition anymore.
After hearing about your 9 fasting days i feel massively inspired.

This is a reply to # 963,499Thanks Milly and keep up the good work yourself. I know what a battle those first couple of days especially can be! When I get stressed now, (not due to the fast but to outside influences) I am focussed on the fact that I am 'past the point of no return' in that it would take too long to break the fast properly and then get started again, so I can be strong enough to keep going. In the first few days that reasoning doesn't hold and it's all too easy for the mind to take an easy way out at the first sign of stress or weakness of will.
Keep going! And let me know how you're doing. :)

I'll keep you posted as to how my fast is going. Let me know how your getting on too.You have been unbelievably strong to reach this point during your cleanse. You can do this!
Its day 2 today on my fast so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for luck. Later on i think i will write a list of all the health benefits of a fast and pin it up on my wall for motivation. I'm also going to go buy some books on fasting today to keep me focused which will be a help.
The support i have recieved here by all you guys is amazing. Thankyou :.)

A 21 day Water Fast is an outstanding achievement you must be so proud of yourself for coming through that. I'm so glad your mild candida symptoms have vanished,thats wonderful.
Today is my day 2 on the fast so here i go and hopefully i can be as successful as yourself and all the other guys on the forum. Everyone here is so amazing!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Day 2 actually was the hardest day of my 21-day fast and I really wish you the best. I actually felt like a drunken person that whole day and could not focus enough to read or do anything productive and I could barely walk because I felt so extremely weak. Other than that, once I got into the groove of things, it actually was a great experience overall despite feeling really weak most of the time and unmotivated. I think once you get past the hump of the first few days, it gets so much easier. If you click on my name, you can see all of my posts for my fast.

I went on a fast several years ago to get rid of candida and ... in fact, it was the ONLY thing that got finally got rid of it. I am so grateful that I did it . The candida was very awful... causing bloating, and all other kinds of craziness and I'm glad that I kicked that loser OUT!! I have NEVER had that 'candida bloating madness" since.
My candida occurred after taking rounds of Antibiotics ( I was too uneducated about natural healings to know that Antibiotics were 'bad" at the time. I sure learned my lesson for GOOD!) The candida and the cure for it ( fasting) taught me a LOT right there. Candida is certainly no fun. It was tough craving those dead foods and then having to feel its affect quadruple fold in the worse ways.
I am starting another fast again ( after taking another break with my favorite salad veggies.)
So, I'm here with you.
I think for me too, the first few days are the toughest. Let's ride this boat together.
Oh yeah, I will be posting in the juice forum again.
