Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. Can't really find new threads on this. I have been searchiing for more website to read on astrology cuz i actually find it interesting. I am using Time Passage now.
The science of astrology ways back to the ancient period. It is as old as 2000 years ago. The Babylonians used it to predict the celestial events and occurrence of seasons. Romans and Arabs later popularised it. Astrology has now evolved as an art and uses natal charts to understand the planets, stars and sun. The word astrology is derived from the Greek word Astra which means star and logos, which means logic. It merely means the energies radiated by the planets and stars. Astrology helps in connecting with that energy and making things happen for you.
Astrology is the movement of the planets and the stars and how they affect your life. It is both an art and a science. It is like a language that helps us in understanding the world, cosmic energy and life. Astrology has great significance in Hindu mythology. It uses the natal or birth chart to predict the life of the individual. Since the day a baby is born in the Hindu family, the first thing their parents do is get their birth chart, or Janam Kundli prepared. This gives them an insight into the traits and personality of the child and what future holds for them and what solutions can be taken if some things don’t work out.
This natal chart tells about the personality traits and behaviour of an individual. It gives a detailed description of the various aspects of his life, like marriage, career, finance, family, health, etc. This helps in finding out solutions for the problems of any in the chart. It makes a person well aware of things that are about to come their way so that they can be well prepared for them. It also helps in depicting the past and how it can be connected with the present or future.
Astrology is also done in the form of zodiac signs or popularly known as horoscopes. Most of us look for that page of the newspaper where we can read our horoscope for the week. Some of them might be doing it for fun, but some might believe in it. The zodiac signs help you in knowing what’s in store for you. It tells the behaviour and characteristics of the individual. They are widely used for understanding the compatibility between the partners and how well they will do along. It will let you know what is going to happen and what can be done to avoid its influence.
If we believe in the art of astrology, we will find ourselves resonating with the zodiac signs. There are a total of 12 zodiac signs resonating one with each. The calendar also shows 12 houses which cover different aspects of an individual's life. The position of the planets in the houses determine the outcomes of life and even the personality traits of the individual. Each planet is responsible for specific qualities like communication, love, peace, etc. As the planets keep on moving from one house to another, the effect keeps on changing.
One can understand their likings, presences, career choices, physical traits and communication style from the natal or birth chart. The planets in conjunction with the houses depict the real picture of the individual's position and his stars.
One needs to understand that astrology is just a way to guide you and help you make better decisions in life. We cannot be dependent on astrology without doing anything. Astrology is the connection with the cosmic energies and how they manifest themselves. It is a guiding light to give you solutions to your problems which have occurred due to changes in planetary position.

Mathematics is not my cup of tea. This is what I told my father when I was making the decision of which subject to choose after class 10th. Vedic mathematics has a very unique and striking theory and method quite distinct from modern mathematics. It explains certain tricks and shortcuts to solve various problems like dividing, multiplying and factoring big numbers in a faster way.
