actually 1 cup of store bought yoghurt will be sufficient to cover the body. don't worry, when you apply it on the skin it will stick. choose the Sugar and flavor free variety. the doctors always say that bad bacteria on the skin are the culprits. yes it's true that bad bacteria causes the odor when they "eat" the sweat and cellular debris on the skin. their "poop" is what stinks. the intensity of the odor depends on the amount of bad bacteria we have on the skin. "stinkers" like us have an imbalance of good vs bad bacteria. for some reason there aren't enough of the good guys to combat the baddies.
so how do we restore the balance? by bringing in reinforcements, the good guys. yoghurt have lots of these. when you shower use an actibacterial soap to kill off all bacteria on the skin, including the good ones. so right after the shower the skin has very little bacteria left. before the bad bacteria grows in number and repopulate the skin, introduce the good bacteria by applying the yoghurt onto your skin and let it seat for 5 to 10 mins. this is to allow the good bacteria to "take root" on your skin. then just rinse it off with water, no soap. do this once a day for a few days. preferably in the evening. when the bacterial balance is restored, the odor should go away! :)
