Yeah I agree on the refreshing post comment. I wish more would jump into the water and comment. I don't understand why most people just sit on the side lines and watch. I love exchanging view points even if they aren't the same.

You made some very good points in what you said.

My wife's brother is like the guy who goes to church all the time and is a decon, but will go out of town and wind up in strip bars without his wife knowing. It reminds me of the two praying, and one telling God he is a good Christian and the other saying he's sorry for being such a bad person, and the Bible said the second person was the better Christian. I believe that too.

You're right I judged the two people in the example. In real life I give both of them the benefit of doubt, and realize they both could become greater Christians than any of us. (Which Healme implied) That was a hard lesson to learn from my wifes brother, who's done even nastier things than I want to mention. But God can do anything.

I'm wondering what you think the tree of knowledge is? I look at knowledge kind of like facts and figures, and wisdom is what you do with that knowledge. Wisdom is putting that knowledge to its best possible use. That's where most fall short I think, including myself. We confuse knowledge for wisdom.
Also what did we have before eating from the tree of knowledge? Wisdom? It seems eating from the tree of knowledge was supposed to be a fall for the human race right? If it was a fall then we were higher before? But if we had wisdom before, we wouldn't have ate from the tree of knowledge would we. Any ideas or comments? Tweet
