There are many ways to be *loving* and so I feel
there is a differentiation between love and love-
making and sex.

Parents generally love their children and children
their parents but it is not necessarily hormonal
and does not result in procreation.

Sex or procreating is hormonally driven and while
it would be nice to have some consideration as to
one's environmental impact, for the most part, it
is probably as instinctual as breeding roaches,
although I have never thought of roaches as being
erotic or worth emulating...ggg

When thinking about global issues, I would imagine
it will take MORE love to inspire each of us to
be more thoughtful and to consider the future for
the generations to come.

Obviously too, you are not alone in thinking we
are like roaches as we are being sprayed overhead by
planes with chemical loads. That does not feel good
and perhaps in the end, your analogy will be perfect
when we all begin to "flee".
