Re: Which Foods have Fibre to Combat Colon Cancer?
"If someone has non-cancerous or pre-cancerous polyps removed, how likely is real cancer to develop? How much does higher fibre diet help?"
I had my polyps removed 11 months ago
The consultant stated that removal significantly reduces teh risk of cancer occurring.
he also told me the bleeding would stop.
It didn't - it worsened
The pain grew worse.
I did a 5 day
Water Fast - and a couple of months later a 14 day
Water Fast - bleeding and pain has stopped but still bloated.
i have read that when fasting over 12 days the body starts to scavenge various diseased tissues - it certainly did feel like that as a lot of symptoms have been minimised.
I would say that
Water Fasting is a great method that allows your body the chance to extensively heal itself.
in a few months I intend to attempt 21 days - I find it very difficult and think continually of food - you wont beleive the amount of recipes I have downloaded !
getting back to topic - I don't think the doctors really know - I would say that polyps are cancer!
If you nourish your body with a bad diet - cancer may develop
if you feed your body whole natural foods - health will abound
I read an article about an obscure US doctor (I think his name was Price)in the 1930's who went around the world gathering info on various primitive cultures, their diets and the types of disease they encountered.
Hardly any of the people he came across knew what cancer was, the few who did know had been slightly westernised.
It is hard to guess what his reasoning was after this.
I am sure diet would help wiith polyps
I am sure if I fast long enough all my other polyps with be reabsorbed into my body.
