I went to art school. I spent 3 hours a day, for 2 years, drawing a model. We learned to draw the human figure, realistically, before abstracting it.
Of course there are untrained artists, "primitive" artists, some of them more highly developed than the "trained", some not.
Just different routes to the same destination.
And I must say, that as far as "abstracting" the concept of OP goes, Trapper's been a true pioneer.
and, BTW..."For someone like you that founded this forum and has another forum that professes using radically high and unproven (and what the medical community would regard as dangerous) doses of iodine.." ummm, the pioneering research is being spearheaded by MDs. See http://www.optimox.com
From the rest of the medical community, we get prozac, ritalin, mastectomies, chemotherapy etc., etc., etc. Who cares what they think? The sad stae of "health" suffered by most these days is because of what "they" think.
