I feel for you...the mirena hit you hard...and I think for those it effects, having it inserted post partum probably multiplies the issues. That's exactly what happened to me, however I was so annoyed with my doctor for not listening to me when I called multiple times about severe insomnia/anxiety and she never once mentioned that it might be post-partum and of course denied that it was the mirena, that I started to see a naturopath doctor. I believe that the supplement support/homeopathic treatment I got kept me from getting worse, but after months of treatment I was not getting completely better. That's when I found this forum, and had the device removed immediately. I think the pins and needles could be the beginning of fibromyalgia (which is a more extreme form of adrenal fatigue). Basically for those of us who are affected by the mirena, it ruins our adrenal gland, and endocrine system. With removal and support, you will be able to get better. I wish you the best...Do everything in your power to help ease stress physical and emotional. I know that is nearly impossible with an infant (I was in the same boat with an infant and toddler)...but with friends, husband, therapy support and healthy food/supplement support, it can make the world of difference.
