My wife had very similar problems. She finished at neuro clinic. They performed lumbar punction, MR and other test. All tests were negative. Two weeks after removal the things got better and problems started to disappear slowly. Today four weeks after removal she is almost fine. So don't hesitate with removal. All doctors denied any possibility that problems could be connected with Mirena. Only neurologist admitted after negative results of tests that problems could be somehow connected to hormone imbalance due to Mirena. The main problem is that all pamphlets about Mirena donít mention serious side effects and doctors thrust that information. If all those side effects would be mentioned and women be warn about that then Mirena wouldnít be successful contraception but just one of many contraception with serious side effects.
