As for the big question of whether or not to stick with the original couple of recommended oils I thought his answer was less than emphatic, maybe even slightly evasive. On the one hand he states that different oils have different effects on people - in which case experimenting would be encouraged. Then he states that you "may not" get benefits long term using other oils.

He doesn't mention what the benefits that can't be produced with the other oils are nor what data he's looking at for whatever long term benefits he's referring to. And his choice of language seems to imply that whatever his data is is not exactly definitive. None of these age old traditional remedies have the kind of scientific backing that we'd prefer to see, and I understand that. But for that exact reason being dogmatic about them and holding them beyond question or experimentation is silly and counterproductive IMO. Especially given the thriving community of experimentation here, and of course the efforts of our hostess with the mostess. ;)
