thanks, molly. what a coupe. the oil getting thick has always intrigued me and his answer is a good one.
as we always suspected, the refined oil requirement was more of a regional/social/agricultural thing which was a means of acquiring as clean of an oil as possible. certified organic takes care of that and allows better quality oil in a more natural state to be used. i think we agreed early on that this was better, especially due to absorbing oil at the same time, which seems to be a new idea to him.
how exciting, huh? we finally get some long unanswered questions answered.
