Thanks for that link. I have researched Eric Edney extensively and his ALS treatments and it seems that his claims are a bit rich. I have inquired on many ALS forums about this and have found that any benefit people have had from this have been minimal, at a tremendous monetary cost. He is generally considered a peddler of false hope by ALS patients and carers. Most PALS think that he doesn't even have ALS as he claims, as he was 70 years old and living on junk food and alcohol for 4 years post diagnosis and was still getting about on his own. Most people with ALS are dead by 1.5 years. At the end of the day, if his theories worked, ALS would not be an incurable illness - because ALS patients are probably the most desperate people out there - the opportunities for conmen such as this guy to make a dollar out of them are endless. This is the general consensus of the ALS community.
