Re: Detoxing Herpes

I was actually going to post about 3 weeks ago about my cold sore. I get one on my lower lip in the same spot everytime I get sick with a cold. This has happened for about 20 years now. When I was on 10 drops per day the cold sore came back but no cold symptoms other then a strange deep routed cough that showed it's face with one quick deep cough averaging 3 times per day. I painted the sore with Lugol's 4 times per day and increased drops to 15 per day. It got super huge and nasty looking. Skin peeled off and sore did not dry up. I decided to stop the Iodine and start IP6 and the cold sore cleared up within the first 3 days. Sounds great! It doesn't end there. I started taking 2 drops of Iodine again and the cold sore came back. I am setting here with that same strange cough and cold sore now that I am at day 16 of the IP6. I have not painted this round. I have been using lysine for this ugly thing for 20 years and it does dry it up extremely fast. Why am I not using lysine now? Because I wonder if the Iodine is actually trying to mop it up and get rid of it for good? I don't mind having a big ugly cold sore right now, becuase I am trying to clean up and not cover up. Hope this is insightful. Wombat has triggered my interest in what she posted so I am going to do some more research. Thought I would share. Tweet
