Amish Black Salve

I just found a Black salve at a health food store that was made by Amish. And I did buy some. The ingredients listed are Blood root, Galangal Root, Sheep Sorrel, Red Clover Blossom, Geranium, Cedarwood, Beeswax and Olive Oil. For those familiar with this type of salve...does that sound ok? I noticed it doesn't have the zinc product in it as the others have.

I want to use it to rid my son of a mole that he's had from infancy. The doctor wanted to remove it (probably cut it out) because he said it's the kind that grows with you over time. Right now it's approximately the size of my pinky fingernail. I need advice on how often to apply it and if I should keep it surrounded with vaseline or something. I read on one site that I should apply it and keep it covered for 2 days and then reapply. But I would like advice from those that have used it here. Also, on how to clean it? Thanks in advance!
