the spelling woes

"I was never a great speller.
My Mom even said that I better get a job that would have a secretary as I had to have her help me type and write my papers in college as I never was any good in English classes."

I like your attitude, boondoc, and thanks for hanging around here! It is so refreshing to actually meet a MD, who has decided to "check out" of the current medical model.
I also appreciated your other post, where you quoted one of your colleagues, saying "a client cured is a customer lost"... that in itself pretty much sums up the whole "usefulness" of current medical profession...

Anyway, about the "spelling deficiency"... I used to know this guy, who was a complete creative genius...

he was working in an individual personal growth field, and was able to talk to a person for very short time, and pretty much "see" all their secrets, pains, hangups, etc... was extremely skilled at making it safe for the person to open up, and come "out of hiding" and get past their shame and their issues, and he was master at making people feel lot more at peace and acceptance of who they are...
he was so good at so many things, and his creativity and resourcefulness, and ability to come up with new ideas, new ways of doing things, was unparalleled...

AND at the same time he could not spell worth crap, and always made fun of the fact,
that he would not be able to spell correctly to save his life... and it was true, he was VERY lousy at spelling...

The way I looked at it, this particular little "flaw" of his just made him that much more endearing to all of us, who were hanging around him.
