Re: Can't Slumber with My Husband - Think We're Headed for Separate Bedrooms - Advice?

thanks for the thoughts. There is no lack of love in our relationship, though. We have lots of cuddle time, but that was never during sleep - he likes to read at night and not be disturbed while doing so, usually goes to bed a couple hours earlier than me, so we don't really connect at night in that pre-sleep phase, anyway. I don't like to spoon or sleep with anyone touching me, and he really doesn't either, so even when we sleep in the same bed, we're not "interacting." Sex is totally separate, we work that in at other times when it's best for both of us, and I don't think we're having less sex or less closeness when we don't sleep together. There is abundant affection between us at other times of the day. I kind of suspect our relationship is a bit unique, and right now I'm struggling more with the practical issues of space, getting enough sleep, habits, health, etc. that are revolving around this problem.
