In January I took a stool analysis test through metametrix. In short, it turns out I have a parasite (of unknown taxonomy) and a slightly raised amunt of yeast (again, of unknown taxonomy - was told it is considered a "transient yeast"). My comprehensive results can be seen in the following images.
My current physician who ordered the tests now has me on a VSL#3 probiotics for a month and then looked at humaworm and actually recommended it (or paragone). I had taken humaworm back in december for about three weeks...I had to discontinue due to intense reactions (the worst being: bloody, frequent diarrhea and horribly foul smelling gas and stools...though I saw no visible parasites pass). I have a history of colitis, and have terrible gas (every day my stomach feels like a carbonated drink) and incosistent, poor bowel habits. It will be almost 90 days since when I start my second round (march 18). However, due to the intensity of the side effects I suffered the first time, my physician recommended me to take a half dosage for two months, instead of the full dosage for one month. Is there anything I should worry about if I do so?
