The unfair judgement came from the religious leaders that looked down on people like this women because she was a Samaritan and they taught others to do the same.
The meeting of Jesus and this women was something new. Not only was Jesus (a Jew) talking to a Samaritan but He was talking to a women...alone. A women that had come to this well alone, miles away from her home. Normally women would go together as a group to the well.
Jesus came to her with compassion. Something she was not expecting. He did not judge her for being a Samaritan or a women but He shared the truth about Living Water and (with love) mentioned her faults in such a way for her to see clearly the need for a renewed life. In today's language I can see it like Dr. Phil asking a women, "How's That Working For Ya?" A real wake up moment. Jesus was not judging, He let her judge herself.
