Elderly Overeating to Feel Sleepy

I have been over-eating to feel sleepy as part of a routine, and I am less trim, than ideal. I find that when It is getting close to time to go to bed, and I am starting to get sleepy, that I lose control of eating logically, and I eat to feel so full that I can't do anything but go to sleep.

I also enjoy the taste of food, and I hate to brush my teeth, which leaves a toothpaste taste, and ruins the pleasant after taste of my delcious food, that I wish to savor eating wtih my full stomach.

I went to a weight watcher meeting one time. They said that it was good to understand the degrees of hunger: Very Hungry, Slightly Hungry, Full and Stuffed.

I may have to change a few of my attitudes and habits.

Maybe I could convince myself taht if I go to sleep slightly hungry, That it might take me longer to get to sleep, but that time for constructive meditation, and I will wake up earlier in the morning, with more energy to get more done.
