well, dang. I use to use a Grapefruit-Seed-Extract nasal rinse. eek.
I've only used Grapefruit-Seed-Extract in one formulation and that didn't sell, I usually use lavender and/or Lugol's. so, no loss there.
It makes sense, I suppose. Grapefruit-Seed-Extract is pretty far removed from the natural form(the seed).
Dina Falconi, in "Earthly Bodies and Heavenly Hair", expresses reservations about GSE, that the manufacturing process is kept secret, and that the organic structure of the raw material is completely transformed during manufacture. She doesn't use it in any of her recipes, so I wonder why she included it in her ingredients glossary? Probably because it's popular..
Thanks, for the info, it does ring true to me.

Yeah, I made a body creme with ghee and honey, absolutely delicious. I thought that the honey would preserve, but noooooooo....:)
