The church I belong to has long recommended keeping a year's supply on hand. My family was a little slow, but we're getting going. One website I recommend is emergencyessentials.com. Load up.
Also, bayteccontainers.com is a good place to get water barrels. We have 3 and ordered 4 more. They are selling like crazy, so order NOW. Fill 'em up then buy lots of vit C powder to neutralize the chlorine (unless you're lucky enough to have a ground water supply). I plan on buying a couple extra bottles of iodoral and lugol's.
Interestingly, I saw a curious reader post to an article on a mainstream news web site in response to an article about food shortages. She was driving through Kansas area and a lot of the fields hadn't been plowed yet to prepare for planting like it usually is by now. Could be subsidized farmers who don't have to plant, or something more insiduous. Don't know, but we're not taking any chances. In a month's time we'll have a full year's supply. We plan to weather the storm. Don't know when it's coming, but the storm clouds are hanging ominously on the horizon.
