The only way of getting rid of candida is by shifting environment in the gut by rebalancing flora. Those with candida need to be more aggressive in this regards and not just use probiotics but acidify the gut. Until the pH is back to normal (acidic) the candida will be back because candida always wins against probiotics in an alkaline medium (probiotics won't implant). Antifungal are useless unless you take care of lowering the pH after taking them.
Things like Lactic Acid Yeast, Zymex, Molkosan will accomplish this since they acidify the gut by bringing lactic acid (by product of good yeast and bacteria). Candida cannot thrive in acidic medium, while probiotics florish in it. Digestive enzymes and a means of boosting stomach acid are helpful as well.
You should have easy access to Molkosan in Europe. I been taking it for a year now and love it's taste (derived from whey but without protein in it, so no chance of allergy).
