That all forms of Selenium are not the same. The organic yeast version you'd probably want to adhere to the 200 mcg/day dose. I've started taking 400 mcg/day of selenomethionine, which is a yeast-free version and, according to some here, something you can go well beyond the RDA with no problem (seems to be the case so far). There's also selenium citrate (which no one here seems to know about) and Semc, which can also be taken beyond the RDA dosage.
