I have had mirena out for about 6+ months. I had all kinds of side effect: Weight Gain, Horrible Acne, Hair Loss, Excrutiating abdominal pain ( had laproscopy Dr. said the pain was NOT the IUD after removal not one bit of pain) Depression, Mood Swings, After having it for 3 months I thought i was bleeding out- huge clots and lasted for a week ( I had mirena for about 2 years then had it removed) Tweet
