Mirena

Hi, daughter is still sick as can be - can't do anything some days and we kept thinking she was going to come out of it and everytime she started to get better - she would crash big time. ie - couch, nausea, fatigue,can't do anything! Went to a GI doctor who did some tests. She came back with gall stones and a cyst on her kidney. The doctor has been really good - hadn't heard of the Mirena but did check it out - thinks it is her gall bladder and she is going to have it taken out. The cyst will be checked out also. Everything else comes back normal after numerous tests. He is hoping it is the gall bladder but if it isn't - he will pursue it until he finds out why she keeps getting so sick. it has been 2 months since removal of the mirena and one period. but the crashes last at least 4 days and she is totally on the couch. We HOPE with all hope it is the gall bladder - which the doctor said could have been caused by the mirena (the stones) - so indirectly it is the problem. But he isn't ruling anything out. but he is trying - which is more than some of the other doctors. Anyone else had their gall bladder removed? Tweet
