Try apples - at least for the waves of nausea. Apples are the pushbroom of the blood. And don't be shy about it - eat several. A little extra pectin isn't bad, either, and not very expensive.
The "good" thing about the nausea means that the toxins are pushed out of the tissues and into the bloodstream. The bad news is it means your liver couldn't keep up. Apples help to bind some of that stuff up (I suspect pectin is the key) and help it out of the system. Give it a try.
