I'm much too acidic, how can I raise Ph of water?

My Ph is very acidic. I just bought a water distiller, and just read that the water is low Ph, like 5.8. I wish I had the money for a good ionizer, as I understand you can drink water that is 9.5 Ph. Does anyone know a good, reliable way to make water a high or at least higher, Ph? Is there something I can add to my already distilled water that definitely works, making the water alkaline? Also, besides eating lots of vegetables and slowly raising my Ph level, what supplement is best recommended for doing this?
