Re: Going to see a Chinese Doctor - What to expect ?

Steh-

Glad that you are going into a different route. I too, started getting into chinese medicine. I have my first acupunture treatment in 2 weeks but i had a consultation with a certified chinese acupunturist and asked LOTS of questions. There are so so many chinese doctors, some real and some fake so I suggest you ask this doctor:

1. Training (where)?
2. How many years trained as chinese doctor?
3. # of years trained with experienced treatment(s) (ie candida, CFS, etc)
4. licensed?

**I hear that its best the chinese doctor had some training in korea, china or japan and when they prepare those custom made teas ask whats in it and ask specific questions one what each herb does and how it will benefit you.
