Re: Toxins in fat cells
Hi Loosie,
Your question Loosie.......
"If I lose 20
pounds through diet and then did a 6-day fast to lose the extra 6
pounds ... would that be the same as fasting for 26 days to lose the whole 26
pounds through fasting?"
Answer: most definitely not I'm afraid.
Fasting is a special process which brings on full ketosis and where dieting will not, and where the diet will not nearly accomplish in healing and cleansing what a 26 day fast would; there is just no contest here.
The 300 pound man you refer to would be far healthier by
Water Fasting to lose his 100 pounds as the cleansing and healing that this accomplishes just cannot be achieved thru healthy eating.
100 days of fasting is also not recommended as this would probably push the body into starvation mode. Grossly overweight individuals tend to lose masses of weight within the first few days while
Water Fasting as well, and where as the fast progresses this falls back to about one pound per day or even less sometimes.
There is just no comparison between fasting and dieting I'm afraid.
If you need to lose 26 pounds Loosie to reach your ideal weight, then I would personally fast for about 10 to 15 days, which would accomplish a great deal of cleansing, healing and weight loss; if not enough weight has been lost then the remainder can be lost thru proper food combining and a high water content raw food diet.
Warm Regards
