Rheumatoid arthritis

I recently read that fluorine toxicity distorts protein structure which could possibly cause autoimmune disorders. Do you think Iodine could help my mother's Rheumatoid Arthritis ? If you could provide any links to give her something to read it would help. I think she is deficient (no surprise there) and the end to Arthritis would really convince her to start on iodine. She had knee surgery because they said a piece of [cartilage] broke off and was causing the pain. It didn't help a bit. Tweet
