Mucous like substances in bowels

Well i have a large amount of white like cottony mucous like all marbled through my stools i have a little gas but no blood ,,some times its not wrapped through the bowels but will be a quarter coined size glops all by themselves,,What is going on with me its something that has me worried,,Thanks to all with some type of info
